Preschool at Trinity Christian School

A Christ-Centered, Academically Strong Start for Your Child

At Trinity Christian School, we believe that early childhood education lays the foundation for a lifetime of learning. Our Christ-centered preschool program nurtures the hearts, minds, and spirits of children ages 3-5, helping them grow in academic skills, social development, and faith formation in a warm and supportive environment.

We recognize that every child is unique, and our preschool program offers multiple class options to meet the needs of young learners while balancing structured learning and play.

Why Choose Trinity Christian School for Preschool?

  • A Balanced Approach – We believe kids learn best when they have both structure and play. Our program provides a strong academic foundation while allowing children to explore, create, and have fun.
  • Faith at the Center – Our preschool integrates Bible stories, prayer, and Christian values into daily learning, helping children understand God’s love and grow in faith.
  • Qualified, Caring Teachers – Our experienced teachers partner with parents to nurture early literacy, math, fine motor skills, and social-emotional growth in a Christ-filled atmosphere.
  • Engaging, Developmentally Appropriate Learning – Children learn through hands-on activities, music, movement, interactive lessons, and play, making each day engaging and meaningful.
  • Flexible Program Options - We understand that every family’s schedule is different. Wee Care allows families to extend their preschooler’s day by adding blocks of child care throughout the week, in addition to their regular preschool class, for greater flexibility and convenience. See our “Wee Care” section below for details!

At Trinity Christian School, we cherish each one of our students and partner with families to nurture academic, social, and spiritual growth in every child.

Admission Requirements for Preschool

To enroll in Preschool at Trinity, students must:

  • For the 3 year-old program, students must be 3 years old on or by September 30th
  • For the 4 & 5 year-old program, students must be 4 years old on or by September 30th
  • For both programs, students must be fully toilet trained*

* A student is fully toilet trained when they can:

Tell the teacher they have to use the bathroom before they have to go.

Pull down their underwear and pants and get them back up again without assistance.

Wipe themselves after using the toilet without assistance.

Get on and off the toilet by themselves.

Wash and dry their hands.

Postpone going if they must wait.

Wear cloth underwear

Of course we realize that accidents happen! However, accidents, by definition, are unusual incidents and should only happen once in a while.

We give plenty of encouragement and grace to our preschoolers, especially when school and routines are brand new to them, but we have this policy in place because we do not have the facilities to support children who cannot toilet independently.
